The Fayston PTO provides ongoing support and the coordination of various fundraising efforts for the school. Projects for 2007/08 will include continued support of the Mobile Laptop Computer Lab, the Artist-in-Residence Program, and the purchase of Dorothy Canfield Fisher awarded books supplementing the library. We host school activities, such as the First Day Breakfast, Family Movie Night, Town Meeting Day Luncheon, and a Winter Skating Party at the Skatium.
We welcome staff requests for curriculum materials or special items not included in the school budget.
Other fundraising initiatives have included new soccer goals and playground improvements, the purchase of snowshoes for our Winter Sports Program, updated atlases for the library and a new kiln for
our Art Department.
Meetings are generally held the third Wednesday of the month, 6:30 pm, in the Art/Music room. Please refer to the Tiger News calendar for specific dates.
