Welcome to Fayston Elementary School!

Dear Families and Friends,

Welcome to the Fayston Elementary School. Our small, rural school celebrates both the academic and social successes of children in preschool through sixth grade. We are privileged to work and learn together in the beautifully scenic Mad River Valley. Our school, 114 students strong, is nestled at the base of Sugarbush Resort's Mount Ellen, the tallest of the resort's six mountains at 4,083 feet. A supportive community and caring, highly-skilled staff are the cornerstones of our successes, which include an award-winning art program, foreign language instruction (French) for all students, academic test scores that far surpass state and local averages and a small-school environment that teaches and promotes the key skills of cooperation, assertion, responsibility, empathy and self-control as part of our time together each day.
We invite you to browse our new website, particularly our newsletter and calendar of events, to learn more about our thriving school. Enjoy your journey, and thanks for dropping by!

Respectfully,

Chris Dodge
Principal
